The car park was inadequate due to there being mini buses parked up. Breakfast took 40 mins to arrive

Overall decor in keeping with the age of the property. Next door site could do with a good clean up which would help first impressions of the Lake Hotel.

It was truly a really enjoyable stay on winter time, the hotel met needs well. Some of the rooms were themed. The breakfast was savoury and hearty, with plenty of meals. Location: the property was so close to fine restaurants, the train station and supermarket and bars and restaurants.

Cleanliness and service , owners arguing at breakfast

The units are themed, spacious with a hot shower, fridge, as for instance. Plus, the location is great and brilliant, minutes from High Street. The staff is good, as well as owner.

I loved the friendly atmosphere and the delicious breakfast, and I was thrilled by how close it was to Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats. As a single traveler, I appreciated having all the essentials in my room, but the cleanliness could use a bit more attention.

Owners excellent, good fresh breakfast well cooked, excellent location, decent room for the price.

The lakes hotel is a very Nice place to stay so say all of us so say all of us the owner is a very pleasant chap so go stay there ok bye for now

It is centrally located in town centre and with free parking. The hotel also operates local tours and therefore is quite convenient for those who are new to Lake District.

Breakfast waitress was very friendly

We were extremely disappointed with the lakes hotel. The room was extremely noisy and the bedroom furniture was stained and dirty. Also the bathroom was horrible.

The location was ideal a short walk from all shops, restaurants the lake.the trainstation was on the doorstep. Plenty of taxis available if you want to go further afield. Great place to stay would book again with the lakes hotel.

Really good Breakfast and Warm Hosts

The hosts were cute and filled my stay with local insights and personalized recommendations that really enhanced my experience. The location was also spot-on, providing easy access to both the town and nearby attractions. The room could benefit from a bit of modernization to match the charm of the hospitality.

Staff very friendly and great with kids. Plently of places to eat within close walking distance Easy to get to off the main route.

Only 1 hour to get breakfast (7:45-8:45). Family room only had small bathroom with no bath.

I stayed for four nights. The location is very good and it saves your money and time. The owners of the hotel are kind. Will stay there if I go again to the lake district.

It takes too long for the water of shower to get hot. Personall I dont like the sausage and the bacons for the breakfast, but the vegetables are not bad.
